AI Shook Up My Career — Here’s How I’m Turning It Into Something Bigger

It’s been a while since I’ve written here. March, to be exact. A lot has shifted since then, and I want to share why.

AI didn’t just disrupt industries in theory. It disrupted mine.
As a copywriter and marketing strategist, I saw the change up close.
Writing became more competitive, more automated, and frankly, more difficult to position as a high-value service.
Instead of resisting, I chose to pivot.
Here’s why:
AI is here to stay. You either get ahead of it or get run over by it. I’d rather lead with clarity and confidence than scramble to keep up.
I want to help women 50+ find freedom. Too many women stay stuck in draining jobs or toxic relationships, convinced it’s too late to start fresh. I know firsthand it’s not.
My skills go beyond copywriting. With decades of experience in marketing, Meta ads management, and coaching, I realized I could create something bigger than “just” done-for-you copy.
So what’s next?
I’ve expanded my work into two main areas:
AI training and workshops for businesses. Through my AI DUNN Right workshops, I help corporate teams cut wasted hours, streamline workflows, and build confidence with tools like ChatGPT.
Coaching for women 50+. I guide women through the transition from “stuck” to building businesses, side hustles, or skills that give them the financial and personal freedom they’ve earned.
And yes, I still offer copywriting and marketing support, but now it’s part of a bigger toolkit, not my whole focus.
What you’ll see here going forward is a mix of:
Practical tips for entrepreneurs
Straightforward ways to make AI work in your business
Guidance and encouragement for women 50+ creating their next chapter
Lessons from my own pivots and experiments along the way
This blog is shifting right along with me into something bigger, more practical, and more honest about what it takes to keep moving forward.
Thanks for being here.
Whether you’re curious about AI, building a business, or figuring out your next chapter after 50, you’re in the right place.
Here’s to what’s next.
Jackie
